My dictionary says that すごい means ghastly, gruesome, awful, weird, wonderful, & amazing. It is weird, but gruesome?
Dogs are too common to be in zoos...and you can't keep Godzilla in a zoo!
すごいis a tricky word. It basically shows that you are surprised/impressed by something good/bad/scary/gross etc. See the examples below.
1.
A: 私はハンバーガーを８こ食べますよ。
B: すごいですね。
Here, B is saying that I'm surprised that you can eat 8 hamburgers!
2.
A: 私のテストは５てんでした。
B: すごいですね・・・
(English translation)
A: I got 5 points on my test.
B: That's amazing (how can you get 5 out of 100??? I can't believe it)
Here, B is sarcastic.
I'm sure you can keep dogs and Godzilla in the Rebecca zoo :)
